Project Name:
AgriServi - Research for semi-commercial farm database.
Description:
AgriServi is changing the way poor people thinks about farming .We promote sustainable agriculture through the idea that semi-commercial farming is the only way to make positive outcomes possible.
Through our operating system, Agriservi links Donors and Beneficiaries and expert worker groups with each other. Our team of 4 people visits the different areas to organize farmer information days and then to explain the concept of semi-commercial farming. We concentrate on the benefits of semi-commercial farming versus the normal subsistence farming that most people are used to. We also identify the needs of the farming communities and work with them on issues like planning for the future and to protect themselves against drought periods that is so much part of their lives. .

Impact on Poverty:
Semi-commercial farming will bring stability into the farming environment of the people of Mozambique. Farming will become a profession and not merely something that you do to provide food for your family. Semi-commercial farming has got the potential to protect people during drought cycles.
